GO SALLY GO!
Hi all – Sally starts Hell Week 2 of the cycle today and is on her way to Memorial Sloan Kettering as I type. We just wanted to quickly share this :38 second video taken over the weekend. As we’ve said before, all of the treatment Sally goes through has put her behind developmentally, and will continue to do so until we get her through this. Mommy and Sally’s therapists have worked really hard over the last few months trying to do what they can to keep her development moving forward.
On Saturday, Sally took a giant step by walking across the room only supported by a push toy. I also included a photo I took of Nicole and the boys rooting her on at the end, after which William gave Sally a big hug. It may be a hill for other kids, but for us was a mountain.

That is the sweetest picture of the family and beautiful video of a happy and growing girl. She beautiful and seeing her walk brought tears of joy. Thanks for sharing that wonderful moment with us. Hugs to the family!
So glad Sally had her fan club cheering her on and capturing her first steps….
For “baby steps” – this was HUGE!!! Watch out – now you have to try to keep up:)
