…in a good mood!

Well, we managed to get one picture of the boys in costume. Fireman William.

Hi all – just a quick update. Sally was at Sloan-Kettering again today for her 3rd and final day of intense chemo this week. She did well, sleeping twice through treatment and being in an overall good mood. Her counts still looked good, so we hope for a hospital free weekend. Sally usually does fine during chemo, it’s the week after we have to be on the lookout. Her counts should begin to drop over the next few days, and that’s when we have to watch for fevers and side effects. We’re all a bit fried from the last three days, the weekend couldn’t have come soon enough.

The NYC Marathon is this Sunday, so are coming up with contingency plans to get Sally to MSK just in case she does fever. The race actually goes through our neighborhood and eventually past the hospital, so getting there by car would be nearly impossible with traffic, and taking her on the subway isn’t an option. It’s a good exercise for us, as we need to have plans in place in case of snow storms or other events that would make getting into the city quickly difficult.

Other than that, just going to take things a day at a time. Please keep Sally in your thoughts and prayers.

Matt
